Welcome to The Art of Selling Art

First, watch this 5-minute walkthrough of the platform and introduction to the program.

VIP Briefing: Art of Selling Art

For painters, photographers, digital artists, 3D creators who want a process-driven approach to selling their art without galleries, art reps, or guesswork.

Why I Created The Art of Selling Art (TASA)

I built TASA in 2018 when my organic, passive approach to helping artists couldn’t handle the weight the demand.  What was simply me sharing what I knew with my friends blew up when one of those friends wrote an article about me then suddenly my inbox was flooded with artists looking for an edge.

First, it was just a Facebook group, then it grew and grew until it became this program.

I am still a full-time artist, and I support this program in tandem. Every time I adapt to meet the economy and social media, I update the program and support its members.

What Is TASA & What Does It Do For Creatives?

The Art of Selling Art helps early and mid-career artists build and grow their businesses. I understand that being an artist can be tough, especially when it comes to selling your work. That's where I come in.

My team provides artists with the tools and resources they need to succeed in the art world. From social media marketing and sales techniques to art events and networking opportunities, we've got you covered.

TASA is not only a set of learning resources for individual artists - we also believe in the power of community. That's why I provide a space for artists to come together, share ideas, and support one another as they grow their businesses (more about this in the 5-minute video above)

Core Values

Deliver Value At Every Turn.

This core value is a carryover from my time in the military. Do the most good whenever you can.

My Philosophy In Art Sales

Most of the internet overcomplicates this game.

I strip it down to what works:

  • Communication - create the clearest articulation of what your art is about in the language your ideal collectors need to discover it in, in order to resonate with it.

  • Marketing - define, then reach your target market, and deliver your message. Excel at this on every platform, online and in person.

  • Sales - identify leads and convert them to sales. Pivot into the sale, overcome objections, provide clarity, and close the sale.

The Invitation

Every month you delay in expanding your skill sets, you not only sacrifice your time and energy, but you also stall the momentum of your career.

Momentum compounds, creating exponential feedback loops.

Those loops become greater over time.

Inside TASA, you gain access to every tool, template, and live strategy I use to grow my art business profitably.

Artists in this program have sold over $1.2M in art sales and counting.

There are three milestones I give to every artist in the program:

  1. $10,000 TASA Award

  2. $30,000 TASA Award

  3. The coveted $100,000 TASA Award

Here’s some recent wins

  • Denise: who had her first $20K art show

  • Annette: who had a $25K art commission in June

  • Vincent: he 21x’d his yearly art sales $700 to over $20K in his first six months

  • Donna: went from low five-figures in sales to $110K in her first year

  • Aatika: $80K in sales, hoping to break 6 figures this year

  • James: $40K in his first three months with TASA

  • See the screenshots of success stories at the bottom of this page!

Whatever level you’re at, I keep it simple and implement this 3-part plan:

Step 1: Communication

You’ll craft your artist statements, learn to write effective stories, perfect your website, and identify your ideal client avatar. I’ll help you craft your WHY and teach you how to use it to create unlimited marketing material.

This is the same story-driven framework that I use to sell my art every month.

Price is marketing, so you’ll learn how to properly price your art.

The goal isn’t just to slap together your footprint online. More clarity, more story, better communication turns strangers into fans, and then fans ascend into collectors.

Step 2: Marketing

This is your 24/7 customer engine.

I teach you how to optimize your digital footprint on social media and the broader webspace; how to turn your stories into content ideas; and how to create viral-ready content.

Then I teach you how to find your ideal collector online and at art shows so that you have market-message match.

You’ll learn organic marketing, earned marketing, and paid marketing. You’ll know how and when to leverage each one.

You’ll learn how to install a funnel for your art and what content to place where in order to make it generate leads and sales.

It’s not set-and-forget, it’s set-and-optimize. But once it works? It scales itself.

Step 3: Sales

With Steps 1 & 2 in place, now we pour fuel on the fire. You’ll learn how to turn likes and comments into sales, how to sell in person, and how to handle objections.

These sales lessons will fundamentally change the way you speak to collectors and help you overcome your fear of sales confrontations.

When you jump into TASA today, you’ll be immediately plugged into:

#1: Lifetime access to all of the training and case studies in the program

You’ll start with the 90-day roadmap and the Get Your Next Sale Now exercise.  You have lifetime access to all the content, scores of hours of tutorials and live calls.

The exact strategy I run today: ads, offers, content systems, traffic playbooks.

Updated live as I scale. This is the infrastructure that was built and still runs my art business.

#2: Personalized Strategy Mapping

On your Blueprint Call with me (Jason), we’ll dive deep into where your art business is now and which training/strategies you should dive into to make the most of your first weeks with TASA.

#3: Weekly Group Calls

You, me, and the other artists inside TASA. Open format coaching calls every week.

Just real conversations and coaching as we work together to build fruitful and thriving art businesses.

#4: Unlimited Support

I think of TASA as a building: the “House of TASA” (obviously, I like naming things). The core education is the bricks. The mortar is the community and the way we use it.  You’ll have 1 year’s access to group coaching and the community, where you can ask anything, share your work/website/offers/content, and have it reviewed and optimized before you launch it to the world.

Who This Is Not For

TASA is not for you if:

  • You chase trends instead of owning your model

  • You avoid execution & blame externals

  • You’re not willing to simplify & go deep

But if you’re ready to build something real?

This is the most comprehensive program I know.
