Making the most of Twitter

The Twitter Algorithm is a nuanced tool that manages the engagement of users on the platform. Kino, a subject matter expert, is joining me for an exclusive webinar on the subject to teach everyone in The Art of Selling Art the keys to unlocking the power of the algorithm.

The two social media platforms that the NFT space thrives on are Twitter + Discord. Below you’ll find a breakdown of how to set up to maximize your Twitter and several resources that will help jump-start your activity on the network.

To the right, 👉 you’ll find a list I have compiled of high-engagement tweet ideas seen in the space and that I have tried myself with varying success. There are a lot of factors that go into creating a viral thread that we will discuss in the webinar at the top of this module.

Don’t overuse the thread ideas. Be a good community member. And check back here from time to time to see what has been added. Questions on this or you want to expand your learning, ask in our Discord.

What is a Twitter Space?
Think of a Twitter Space as a cross between a live podcast and a chatroom. It is an audio-only conversation accompanied by shared tweets and the ability to view and be viewed by all participants and listeners.
Spaces act like networking events and catalysts for artists seeking the opportunity to share their work and be seen by collectors.
For artists in Spaces, working up the courage to request to speak and share your story or pitch your art is one of the most difficult challenges for artists in Spaces. I recommend joining "hang out" spaces first. These Spaces have no other purpose than to be human together. Converse and make friends, and you’ll find speaking on "stage" isn’t scary and that there are people who want to hear you.

When following the guide below, it is vital to note that this is what people will see when they tap on your avatar icon in a Twitter Space. A prospective collector will see a header image, a profile photo, and only 2 lines of text. Do your best to ensure that this first impression is the best that it can be.
